Year-Long Interns Arrive
11 Interns in 2007

This is a groundbreaking year for us: we have 11 interns in our Twenty4Seven internship program! After a very full week of orientation, the interns were officially welcomed into the family with a commissioning celebration this past weekend.

Our interns will play a vital role in making ministry happen this year, all while gaining firsthand experience in what full-time missions is about. We believe God has called each one here for this specific time, and we can't wait to see all that He has in store!

Preparing for
LaunchPad

Over the last month we have been preparing for LaunchPad, our after-school discipleship program, to kick-off for the year. It’s exciting to hear from our students that they are ready for classes to start back up.

"When are classes starting again? I've been waiting. Christmas was good but LaunchPad... It's better!"

This year we are introducing courses in two new churches. One will be held in a new area of Qwa Qwa and the other in a village that has never before hosted a LaunchPad class. It’s exciting to see the Lord expanding our territory!

Outreach Starts Early
Joshua Expeditions
This year, we will be hosting more mission teams than we ever have before! We kicked off the year with our first team in January. Joshua Expeditions (Dallas, TX) brought a team of high school students from Nashville to serve with us.

The team focused on children's ministry. They worked with the handicapped children at Limakatso Disabled Center, visited the local hospital, and ran an afternoon children's club for the kids in Intabazwe. They were so full of energy and joy; they did a wonderful job displaying the love of Christ to everyone they met!

Welcome New Staff!
We are excited about the new staff the Lord has brought to our team this year. Jennifer Marion joins us as the Director of Leadership Summit (abstinence and leadership development program in public schools). Brittany White came on board to write and develop curriculum for the Leadership Summit program. Welcome to the family!

We thank the Lord for the incredible team of selfless servants that He has brought together here in Africa. Our missionary and national staff work diligently and passionately to train Godly leaders in this nation. We are grateful to the Lord for each one of them.
