Men's Luncheon
Men's Luncheon

Our annual Men's Luncheon was the best ever this year! Over 110 men attended and received not only lunch, but also a touch from the Lord. Pastor Jerry Lackey, founder of Love Botswana Outreach Mission, shared a challenging message on vision and purpose. The men were encouraged and inspired to stand up and make a difference in their community.

"This was the right message at the right time! I will
strive to be the man God says I can be in His Word."

"God has done a miracle in my heart. My life is
totally changed, and I am starting afresh with God."

Going to the Next Level

Next Level

Next Level is our advanced leadership training class, taught weekly to 15 students. These classes focus on developing young adults into Godly leaders through personal spiritual growth. Since recent lessons taught on healing and prayer, we took the students to a local hospital to help them put "feet" to their faith. Stepping out of their comfort zones, the students reached out to minister to others.

"I talked to a woman who had high blood sugar, diabetes, and arthritis. She told me she had a burning pain in her back. I laid my hands on the painful spot on her back and as I prayed, the lady said that the spot began to turn cold. It was beginning to feel better! Praise God!"

Team Ministry

The mission team from Cornerstone Church (Highland, MI) was a real blessing to us as well as to the people of Qwa Qwa. The team shared the love of Jesus through relationship evangelism, children's club, and hospital ministry. They also visited the Disabled Children's Center where they gave out gifts they had collected for the children. Each child was filled with joy upon receiving the gifts - and the love - the team lavished upon them!

"We were invited by the headmaster of a school to do an additional session of children's ministry for a group of 300 2nd and 3rd grade students! It was absolutely wonderful and a tremendous blessing from God!" - Team Member

Hearts Ablaze

Fire

Several weeks ago we faced a huge trial as our dining hall roof caught on fire. Our entire team of staff and interns, as well as the visiting mission team from Cornerstone, prayed fervently and worked tirelessly for six hours until the fire was extinguished.

We know that the enemy wanted to steal much more than our facilities. His aim was to steal our joy, passion, and vision – and he did not win! Our hearts are ablaze with God’s mandate to raise up leaders in Africa. We will not slow down or give up; we will keep moving forward to do what God has told us to do!

Please pray with us for:

- Wisdom regarding rebuilding
- Favor with the insurance company
- Finances to cover this great need
- Continued protection and safety
